2019 Senior Recognition

Our parish's high school seniors were recognized last Sunday

And some scholarships were awarded

Helga Ziegler and daughter Ramona McKay (who drove in from Texas for this event) present the First Annual Marvin J Ziegler scholarship to a very worthy Mr. Pfeifer.

2019 Easter Vigil

Will you accept it?

 Reflection

It's only by accepting God's unconditional

love that we become capable of showing

 that same love to others.

Christopher West (taken from Love Is Patient, but I'm Not)

What is prayer?

 Reflection

Prayer is the soil in which grace can grow.

Fr. John Bartunek (Taken from A Quiet Place)

Pizza Party

The Knights of Columbus hosted the Rough Riders to a Pizza Party!

While they were there, a check was also presented of the funds collected by our Tootsie Roll drive.

What are you holding on to?

Reflection

Don't hold on to anything. There is nothing that you are

holding onto that is safer in your hands than in God's.

Dr. Greg Bottaro (Taken from The Mindful Catholic)

Do you open your heart?

 Reflection

In order to forgive, we must open our hearts

to a love that does not originate in us.

Christopher West (taken from Love Is Patient, but I'm Not)

A touch of the Irish

Members of St Mary Queen of Angels parish shared Sunday Services with the Senior Centers on St Patrick's Day. What a wonderful ministry!

2018/2019 CYO has begun

Our parish is so BLESSED to have such a fantastic youth group. Please keep them in your prayers.

(by my count, 3 kids are NOT smiling.  Can you find them?)

What is God saying to you today?

 Reflection

Pay attention to what is happening around you.

There's a good chance that God is speaking to

 you without using words.
