RADICAL RIDE ON THE WINGS OF PRAYER

During vacation bible school students traveled to different countries to learn about a saint, how to put prayer in action, and other activities designed to enhance their faith. There was merry music, fun skits, cool crafts, exciting games, and yummy snacks all centered around the theme to reinforce the morning's teachings and enhance each child's faith journey. Daily prayer and virtue demonstrations completed the adventure.

Celebrating Our 2026 Graduates

The Russell Council of Catholic Women and Knights of Columbus #3034 were honored to celebrate the Class of 2026 from the Russell and Gorham parishes following the 10:00 AM Mass on May 3, 2026.

Congratulations to our outstanding seniors: Walker Middleton, Trey Zorn, Ian Strobel, Madison Wieger, and Norah Dreiling! Each was presented with a crucifix as they begin this exciting new chapter.

We are also proud to share that $1,000 scholarships were awarded during the reception to support our students’ continued journeys.

In addition, the Russell Council of Catholic Women was blessed with a special opportunity this year to award a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship to a parishioner who graduated between May 2022 and May 2025. Congratulations to Zachary Martinez on being selected for this honor!

Hamburger and Hot Dog Feed

 

Religious Education classes closed out the 2025-2026 academic year with a hamburger and hot dog feed. Students are lined up to partake in the goodies.
