Bishop Jerry Vincke visited St. Mary Queen of Angels and St. Mary Help of Christians on August 9, 2026, to install Fr. Vincent John as pastor of the parishes.

Following the installation, parishioners gathered for a parish breakfast to welcome Fr. Vincent and congratulate him on his new pastoral assignment. Members of the Knights of Columbus prepared a delicious breakfast featuring egg and sausage casserole and fresh fruit. Members of the Russell Council of Catholic Women generously provided a variety of pastries.

The breakfast offered parishioners an opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Fr. Vincent, celebrate his installation, and enjoy fellowship together as a parish community.
